Georgia Salon Supports Benefit For Cancer Cure
Posted on: 07/21/2004

Paradise Beach Resort in Locust Grove, Ga., recently held a Salons for the Cure promotion to benefit the American Cancer Society. Pink paper ribbons created especially for this event were distributed to clients visiting the salon during the month of June. Supporters donated $1, and their ribbon was displayed at the salon counter in honor of those who have survived or been diagnosed with breast cancer.

“As a special customer-appreciation gesture, we matched all donations--dollar for dollar--during the month of June,” says owner Sandy Mitchell. “Due to the level of support we received, we intend to make this an annual event and continue our support of the community.”

Paradise Beach Resort now has a second location in McDonough, Ga. For more information, call (770) 914-2133.
