The Nailco Group Employees Donate Blood
Posted on: 10/28/2004

In August, Farmington Hills, Mich.-based The Nailco Group hosted an American Red Cross blood drive, during which 83 employees made donations. Twenty-four employees were first-time donors; seven employees were double red-cell donors, who gave blood filtered exclusively for red blood cells--with the potential to save up to six lives per pint. Sixty-one units of blood were collected in all, with the potential to save 167 lives.

“Inviting the American Red Cross to The Nailco Group is yet another demonstration of our employees’ commitment to reach out to the community,” says Larry Gaynor, president and CEO of The Nailco Group. “We believe that the community is one of our key customers and the blood drive has now become a TNG tradition.”
