Wisconsin Salon Leads Rally For Cancer Cure
Posted on: 11/01/2004

Inch By Inch Tanning of West Allis, Wis., rallied with six other area salons to donate an $800 pampering package to one breast-cancer survivor in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The package was given away during The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s Race for the Cure in Milwaukee on Sept. 19.

Salon owner Denise Rupcic thanks Designer Skin, BreeZe Products and T.W. Tan for their support. The three companies combined to donate $1,000 in prizes that were raffled at Inch By Inch.

In addition, Inch By Inch tanning turned its bulletin board pink, and customers were able to list the names of loved ones affected by breast cancer.

Inch By Inch hopes to increase the scope of its fund-raiser next year to include more salons and prizes.
