John Abaté International participated in the 7th Annual Hike for Hope, which took place March 6 in the Indian Canyons of Palm Springs, Calif. The family-oriented, noncompetitive fund-raiser, sponsored by the Desert Women’s Council, supports women’s cancer research at the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute in Duarte, Calif. This year’s benefit featured nine different hikes, ranging from easy to strenuous.

JA provided more than 800 packettes of UV Repair for participants to use to rehydrate and refresh their skin after the hike.

“The event was wonderful,” says Jackie Rubin, sponsorship chair of the Desert Women’s Council. “We had well over 700 participants. As of the middle of March, the event has raised more than $100,000, but checks are still coming in.”
